Beach in Ahue
In 1402, Jean de Betancourt from Gafira de la Salier landed here for the subsequent conquest of the island. For a long time, the bay was used by settlers arriving in Betancuria .
Now the harbor is only a quiet fishing village. Season fishing in it lasts from May to October. In addition, Ahui is a popular tourist excursion to visit the deep and dramatic caves, carved in the softer parts of limestone cliffs by ocean winter storms.
