Faina Iontelevna Grimberg (married to Gavrilin ; born July 14, 1951 , Akmolinsk ) is a Russian poetess, prose writer and translator.

Biography
Born in the family of a school teacher and night watchman. She graduated from the philological and (in absentia) historical faculties of Tashkent University ( 1975 ). She worked as a cleaner, typist at the Tashkent Textile Institute ( 1967 - 1980 ). She made her debut in print in poetry in the Tashkent almanac "Youth" (1980). In the 1980s, she was engaged in literary criticism and translated Bulgarian poetry [3] .

Husband - poet and artist Andrei Olegovich Gavrilin (born 1961) [4] [5] [6] .
Creativity
In addition to poetry, the author of plays, historical and other prose, which he publishes under pseudonyms (more precisely, heteronyms ) and under his own name, speaks with articles on Russian history, literary and critical works. Translates poetry and prose from English, German, Finnish, Swedish, Czech, Bulgarian and other languages.
It was also published under the pseudonyms Ksenia Gabrieli, Jeanne Bernard, Clary Botond (Mihai Kish and Maria Varadi), Jacob Lang, Sabahatdin-Bor Etergun, Sofia Grigorova-Aliyeva, Marianna Benlaid (aka Maria Schwarzkopf), Katarina Fuchs (aka Katherine Rand , Irina Gorskaya, Faina Ryabova, on behalf of whom literary hoaxes were published in the 1990s, presented as translations of Faina Grimberg.
Recognition
The story "Mavka" (2001) was included in the short list of the Ivan Petrovich Belkin Prize .
For the book Four-Leafed for My Father, Grimberg received the Poetry Award “Difference” (2013), becoming her first laureate [1] [7] .
