Ilinskoe is a village of the Oktyabrsky rural district in the Oktyabrsky rural settlement of the Rybinsky district of the Yaroslavl region ^[1] .

The village is located on the right bank of the Sonohta River , north of the P151 Yaroslavl - Rybinsk road, where the nameless tributary flows into Sonohta. On the opposite bank of Sonohty there is the village of Andreevskoye , and, upstream, but on the south side of the road is the center of the rural settlement Oktyabrsky settlement ^[2] .

The village of Ilyinskoe is indicated on the plan of the General Survey of the Borisoglebsky district in 1792. The right tributary Sonohty, flowing to the north of the village, also named the river Melenka . According to the information of 1859, the village belonged to the Romanov-Borisoglebsk district ^[3] .

As of January 1, 2007, there were 2 permanent residents in the village ^[4] . The post office, located in the village of Oktyabrsky, serves 12 houses in the village of Ilinskoe ^[5] .
