At the age of 15, he entered the class of the double bass Franz Ziemandl at the Vienna Conservatory . At the end of the course in 1894 he entered the orchestra of the Vienna Court Opera , from 1898 he also played in the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra . In 1910 - 1914 taught at the New Vienna Conservatory. In 1918 he moved to Prague, where in 1920-1934. He was the first double bass in the orchestra of the National Theater , and then he conducted pedagogical work until the end of his life.
Mishka owns a number of pieces for double bass, including three sonatas (the most famous E-minor Op. 6, 1911 ); Misha's compositional style leads to late romanticism.
