Content
History
On January 20, 1964, the Institute of Military chaplainry was organized for the Kenyan army in the Catholic Church in Kenya.
On July 21, 1986, Pope John Paul II issued the bull “Spirituali militum curae,” which established the Kenya Military Ordinary. Since that time, Kenya’s military ordinance has become a separate independent church structure at the diocese.
