It is located on the western shore of Lake Kosarno (Lobovsky) , 30 km south of the town of Opochka and 0.5 km south of the village of Lobovo .
The population as of 2000 was 12 people [1] , for 2012 - 8 people.
Until 2005, the village was part of the now abolished Lobovsky volost with its center in the village of Lobovo .
