Geography
The village is located in the center of the Semiluki region, 46 km from the district center of the city of Semiluki on the right bank of the Serebryanka river (the former Zemlyanka river).
Title
The name of the village comes from the word " stadnitsa " - to keep herds. [one]
History
The village was founded in 1770 by the courtyards of the city of Zemlyansk, who moved to the places of grazing cattle. [one]
In 1835 (according to other sources - in 1838 ) a church of the Nativity of Christ was built in the village. [one]
In 1866, Zemlyansky Znamensky Nunnery was founded in honor of the deceased husband and daughter on the high east (left) bank of the Serebryanka River by Baroness Anna Petrovna Bode. In 1918 the monastery was closed. [one]
Attractions
In the village is the Church of the Nativity of Christ. In 1868, a funeral service was held in the church and Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Petrovich Zhmurin, the hero of the war of 1812, was buried in the temple fence. [one]

Church of the Nativity of Christ in the village of Stadnitsa, Zemlyansk District, with an aisle of St. Demetrius of Rostov, stone with a bell tower, built in 1838. Arable land 33 tithing. Nicholas Church of the village of Kondrashovki is considered to be attributed to this church. Parishioners 815 souls.
