Early years
Anna Si Belnap was born on May 22, 1972 in Damariscott ( Maine , USA ) in the family of David and Louise Belnap. Sister Jordan and Christopher Belnap.
She studied at the Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, Maine.
While studying at Middlebury College in Vermont , she became interested in acting. Then she studied at the American Conservative Theater, where she received a Master of Fine Arts.
Career
Has been acting in films since 1996. In total, she played in more than 20 films and television series.
Among the television works of Belnap are the roles of the foreground in Medical Investigation and Handler, the supporting role in Deadline, as well as guest roles in the shows Law and Order , Law and Order: Special Corps and Without a Trail .
Belnap appeared in the movie Alchemy and debuted in the feature film Trap of Reality.
Belnap joined the cast of the long-running crime drama CSI: Crime Scene New York as Detective Lindsay Monroe in 2005 in the episode of the second season of The York Zoo.
Among her stage works, roles in the production of Off Broadway's “Metamorphoses” at Second Stage Theater in New York also played on the stages of the Mark Taper Forum, Old Globe Theater, Westport Country Playhouse and Williamstown Theater Festival.
Personal life
Since August 2004, Anna has been married to Eric Siegel, her colleague at the Rude Mechanicals Theater Company in New York. The spouses have two children - daughter Olive Siegel (born January 14, 2007) and son George Siegel (born February 6, 2009).
During the filming of the show CSI: Crime Scene New York , one episode describes how she was bitten by a cobra. This event was used to reduce her screen time during her first pregnancy (which, unlike her second pregnancy, was not included in the script of the show). She also went home to Montana in an episode to testify in court in order to shorten her screen time. Her second pregnancy was included in the script of several episodes of the fifth season, in which her character and moa Danny Messer have a daughter.
