Siberian Claytonia ( lat. Claytonia sibirica ) is a species of dicotyledonous flowering plants included in the genus Claytonia of the Montiaceae family .

Botanical description
Siberian Claytonia - usually a perennial herb , not exceeding 45 cm in height, often succulent . Bottom leaves on long petioles, plate up to 3 cm, egg-shaped, pointed toward the end, fleshy. Stem leaves are separate, paired, opposite.
The flowers are collected in the raceme at the end of the stem, up to 2 cm in diameter. The calyx consists of five ovate blunt sepals. The corolla petals are 5, up to 1 cm long, more or less equal, with a notch dividing them into two lobes, painted white or pink. Stamens in number 5.
The fruit is an egg-shaped box up to 4 mm long.
Area
Claytonia Siberian grows in swamps and in wet forests. Under natural conditions, it is common in Eastern Siberia and in the west of North America . Delivered to many regions of Europe , where naturalized. Sometimes grown as an ornamental garden plant.
