Career
In 1995, she participated in the World Cup . At a distance of 400 meters, she took 12th place in the semifinals and did not go any further. In the relay race 4 × 400 meters, together with Tatyana Chebykina , Svetlana Goncharenko and Elena Andreeva, became the silver medalist, losing to the US team.
In 2000, at the European Indoor Championships, she won the gold medal in the relay, setting a competition record, and at the Olympics with Svetlana Goncharenko, Olga Kotlyarova and Irina Privalova, became the bronze medalist, losing to the national teams of the United States and Jamaica. For this medal, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Ivan Sklyarov, presented Julia and her coach Leonid Kuznetsov with a Zhiguli car. At the World Indoor Championships in 2001, together with Julia Nosova , Olesya Zykina and Olga Kotlyarova, she won gold in the relay race, showing the best season result in the world.
Personal life
Graduated from Kazan Pedagogical University . Lives in Nizhny Novgorod, she has a son, Alexander [2] .
