It is located north of Lake Uzho , 43 kilometers southwest of the district center, the city of Nevel , and 12 km northwest of the volost center, the village of Turichino . 0.5 north of the village is a small lake of the same name Vilno . 4 km to the west is the border with Belarus .
The population of the village in 2000 was 1 person [1] , in 2011 - permanent residents were not counted.
