Decimiana (lat.) Is a genus of mantis from the family Acanthopidae ( Mantodea ). South America : Argentina , Bolivia , Brazil , Paraguay . 6 types. Length 3-5 cm. Mesothoracic wings of females with short apical lobes; in males they are narrow with brown stripes between the veins. An analysis of phylogenetic relationships based on morphological characteristics (including the structure of the male genitalia) showed the presence of at least two main groups: Decimiana bolivari + Decimiana hebardi and Decimiana rehni + Decimiana tessellata [1] [2] .
