Gordius plicatulus (lat.) - a species of parasitic worms from the group of hairy individuals ( Gordiidae, Gordiida ). Europe ( Germany , Spain , Croatia ) [2] . Lengths from 164 to 920 mm. The front part of the body of the males is spiky, white, bounded by a dark ring. The mouth of the males opens in the terminal position (in females in the subterminal). Cuticle wrinkled. The posterior end of the body is bilobate (in females without bifurcation, rounded), the length of the lobes is from 57.7 to 90.0 μm with a maximum width of 24.3 to 38.0 μm. Found in small water bodies associated with mountain rivers and streams, or directly in streams [3] .
