History

The first narrow gauge railways near Okha appeared in 1925, sections of Okha - Kaigan and Okha - Urkt were opened. The broad gauge railway came to Okhu in 1934 , after which the station became a junction. A transshipment point was opened at the station from 750 mm to 1520 mm gauge railways.

The construction of the Okha-Nogliki-Nabil narrow-gauge railway began in 1948 . In 1953, the Okha station became a full-fledged railway junction.

Until 1979, the station had passenger traffic on both lines. In 1979, it was discontinued, and in return, the Okha - Moskalvo bus route was launched. Narrow gauge traffic was stopped in order to prevent an increase in passenger traffic after the opening of the 1067 mm gauge Nogliki station .

In 1998, traffic on a broad gauge stopped. By 1999, the Okha- Moskalvo line was dismantled, one of the rail lashes was removed on the three-strand section of Okha - 5 km , where the UPTOK warehouses were located.

On December 22, 2006, the station was closed along with the entire narrow gauge railway. By 2008, the station was completely dismantled.
