Location
Yermolino village is located on the M4 Don highway. In the northwest is bordered by the city prominent . Near the village flows the river Bittsa .
History
The village of Yermolino is mentioned in documents of the beginning of the 17th century. Then in the village was the wooden church of St. Nicholas . According to the data of 1627, two thirds of the village belonged to Prince Alexei Yuryevich Sitsky , and one third belonged to Prince Andrey Vasilyevich Sitsky . In the village there were “ two yards of boyars, a clerk’s yard, a stable yard, a cattle yard, 2 business courtyards and 5 peasant yards ”. In 1646, half of the village belonged to the boyar Nikita Ivanovich Romanov . The second half of the village was owned by the Duma clerk Grigory Vasilyevich Lvov. In 1691 a new wooden church was built on the site of the old one. In 1710 Ermolino was owned by Alexander Danilovich Menshikov . In 1812–1827 a new stone church was built, which has survived to the present day [1] .
In the XIX century, the village Yermolino was part of Sukhanovskaya volost Podolsky County . In 1899 192 people lived in the village, there was an apartment of the Sotsky [2] . Through the village, the troops of Napoleon I Bonaparte retreated, as evidenced by numerous historical finds.
Attractions
The temple of St. Nicholas , built in the years 1812-1827 in the Empire style [3] . In Soviet times, the church did not close, so its interior was preserved [1] . The church is an architectural monument of local importance [4] .
