Sports Biography
In 1968, Jose Acosta first participated in the Summer Olympics . The Argentine athlete took part in equestrian eventing. In the individual championship, Acosta, gaining -277.96 points, took 29th place, and in the team championship the Argentine team was unable to complete the performance, as two of the four participants did not complete the eventing program. At the games, Acosta performed on the horse Oligarca .
At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Jose Acosta also took part in the eventing. In personal eventing, the Argentinean could not finish the cross and was forced to complete his performance at the games. In team eventing, the Argentine national team, like 4 years ago, could not finish the tournament, since 3 of the 4 horsemen who started the games did not complete the eventing program. At the games, Acosta performed on the horse Saxofón .
