Content
History
Founded in the second half of the XVIII century. At the site of the village were first swamps, reeds. On the islets in the midst of them began to evict the exiles. The first here was exiled chieftain Chernyshev Michael. The name of the village comes from the fact that it was based on the Erick Industry [3]
It was also known as the stanitsa Promyslovaya (Harahus) .
In 1859, according to the List of Populated Places in the Astrakhan Province, in the village of Promyslova (Harakhusy) there lived 418 male and 422 female souls. In the village there was a church. When the village was located winter rate Harahusovsky ulus [4] .
In August 1920, with the center in the village of Promyslovka, the Promyslovsky Village Council was formed as part of the Yandykov volost of the Astrakhan district of the Astrakhan province . On November 2, 1920, the former village of Promyslovka was incorporated into the Autonomous Region of the Kalmyk people . In July 1925 it was incorporated into the Biryuchekosinsky district of the Astrakhan district of the Astrakhan province . In May 1927, the village was again transferred to the Kalmyk Autonomous Region (1936 - Kalmyk ASSR ) [5] . During the years of collectivization the collective farm “Total Labor” was organized.
In 1944, in connection with the deportation of the Kalmyk people and the liquidation of the Kalmyk ASSR, the village became part of the Liman district of the Astrakhan region [5] .
General physiographic characteristic
The village is located in the south of the Limansky District , within the Western Ilmen-Bugrovaya Plain , which is part of the Caspian Lowland [6] , at an altitude of 23 meters below sea level [7] , with Ilmen Sabul [4] . The peculiarity of the area is the distribution of the so-called Baer hillocks elongated in the sublatitudinal direction. Soils are brown, saline and saline. Soil-forming rocks are sands [8] .
By road, the distance to the regional center of Astrakhan is 120 km, to the district center of the urban-type settlement Liman - 9 km [9] .

The climate is sharply continental , extremely dry (according to the Köppen-Geiger climate classification - Bsk ). The average annual air temperature is positive and is + 10.4 ° C, the average temperature of the coldest month of January is 4.7 ° C, the hottest month of July is + 25.1 ° C. The estimated multi-year rainfall is 236 mm. The least amount of precipitation falls in February (12 mm), the highest in June (28 mm) [7]
