The Music of Nashville: Season 1 Volume 1 is the debut soundtrack album for the American music and drama television series Nashville starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere , created and produced by Callie Howry with the participation of Er Jay Cutler, Dee Johnson , Jim Parriot, Steve Buchanan and Connie Britton . The album was released on December 11, 2012 via Big Machine Records and was generally well received by critics. [1] He debuted at number 14 on the US Billboard 200 chart , at number 4 on Top Country Albums and topped the soundtrack chart with sales of 56,000 copies in the first week of release [2] .
