Principle of Operation
The principle of operation of the pallet packer: goods on a pallet are wrapped at an adjustable speed - from 4 to 12 revolutions per minute. In this case, the pallet can stand on the turntable and rotate, or be stationary, and the roll with the film rotates on the arm or on a mobile robot. The film roll moves vertically, wrapping the load over its entire height. At the end of the procedure, the film is cut off automatically, or the operator performs this operation. Pallet packers are used for bulky and heavy loads.

Semi-automatic pallet packers are machines for the operation of which the constant presence of the operator is necessary. The operator sets the pallet, secures the end of the film to the load, starts the winding cycle, cuts the films at the end of the cycle and takes the pallet away. There are several types of semi-automatic pallet wrappers: with a rotary table, with a rotating arm, a mobile robot.

The most common pallet wrappers. The load is mounted on the platform and rotates during winding. The platform has a height of 70 to 90 mm, so to install the load on the platform with hydraulic trolleys, you must use a ramp or deepen the base to the floor level.

During the winding, the load is stationary. The film roll moves along a pallet rotating around the pallet with a load of hand. The advantages of this method are that the load is stationary during the winding. For positioning with a manual or self-propelled trolley, there is no need for a ramp or for deepening the base into the floor. The disadvantage of this equipment is the greater cost and large size.
- Mobile Pallet Packer
The load is stationary. A push-button machine is brought to the load. The operator secures the end of the film to the load and starts the winding cycle. The car drives around the pallet itself, wrapping it from the bottom up and back. At the end of the cycle, the operator cuts the film and drives the car to the next pallet. This way saves time for loading / unloading pallets. While the machine is wrapping up a pallet, the operator can pick up a new pallet for wrapping or take away an already wrapped pallet.
