Rajan Suri is an American scientist, author of the theory of rapid response production (QRM English ), an honorary professor at the University of Wisconsin.

Biography
Rajan Suri graduated from Cambridge University in 1974. Later, in 1978, he received a master's and doctorate degree from Harvard University.
Professor Suri has advised leading companies such as 3M, Alcoa, AT&T, Danfoss, Ford, Hewlett Packard, Hitachi, IBM, Ingersoll, John Deere, National Oilwell Varco, P&H Mining Equipment, Pratt & Whitney, Rockwell Automation, Siemens and Trek Bicycle. Advising company executives in Europe and the Far East, as well as assisting in the conduct of World Bank projects, gave him a significant international perspective in the competitiveness of production. For outstanding contributions in his field awarded the Eckman Award.
