History

Mentioned in the census book of 1627 as the wasteland of Savrasovo. On the plan of 1670 it is designated as the village of Savrasovo, next to which there are peasant households. In addition, from the drawing, preserved in the funds of the Order of Secret Affairs , on both banks of the Pakhra River, above the confluence of the Zhdanka River, it can be seen that the village of Savrasovo belonged to Grigory Sunchaleevich Cherkassky , who was killed by his own servant on October 14, 1672 . [1] Later, by the middle of the 18th century, two settlements formed from the village and peasant households - Bolshoye Savrasovo and Maloye Savrasovo, located on the right bank of Pakhra.

The name, presumably, comes from the non-calendar personal name Savras [2] . Most likely, it comes from the first settler with the name Savras (Savrasa) - “light red” (similar to the corresponding horse suit) or from the name of the owner of the Savras , known from documents from the 15th century (Savka Antonov son, serf , 1498 ; Savras Mikhailov son, clerk , 1558 ; Elizarko Savrasov , landowner , XV century). [3]

In the 19th century, the village of Bolshoye Savrasovo was part of the Domodedovo volost of Podolsk district . In 1899 , 106 people lived in the village [4] .

Population

According to the All-Russian Census , in 2002, 17 people lived in the village (7 men and 10 women) [5] . According to 2005 data, 5 people lived in the village [6] .

Location

The village of Bolshoye Savrasovo is located on the left bank of Pakhra, about 15 km east of the center of Vidnoe . The nearest settlements are the villages of Grigorchikovo , Maloye Savrasovo and the village of Volodarsky .

Attractions

Near the village are Slavic mounds dating from the 11th – 13th centuries. Mounds have the status of a monument of archeology [7] .
