Gordius (lat.) - a genus of parasitic worms from the group of hairy individuals ( Gordiidae, Gordiida ). About 80 valid species. Body length from 2 cm to 2 m ( Gordius fulgur ) [1] . The body is cylindrical. The tail end of the males is bifurcated into two blades. Areoles look like rounded sections of the cuticle, limited by light grooves. In the surface layer of the cuticle there are no adjacent cavities, and on its surface there are no dark-colored areoles. Insect parasites [2] .
