Second Division Andorra Cup

The second division of Andorra or Segona Division ( cat. Segona Divisió ) is the second most powerful division of the championship of Andorra in football, held since 1999 under the auspices of the Football Federation of Andorra . The team that won first place goes directly to Primera Division . The runner-up club plays in the play-offs with the team that finished 7th in the Primera Division. The reserve teams of the clubs of the Primera Division also play in the second division, but they are not eligible for promotion. In the 2007/08 season, the Santa Coloma B team was renamed Unio Esportiva Santa Coloma , won first place in the tournament and won the right to qualify for Primera Division [1] .

Stadium " Comunale d'Ashoval "

The Andorran Football Federation holds Primera and Segon Divisio matches at its stadiums [2] [3] . The federation also distributes stadiums and training fields for each team [4] . The stadium " Comunal d'Achoval " is located in the south of Andorra in San Julia de Loria and seats 899 spectators [5] . Sometimes the matches are held in the Spanish city of Alas-Serk in the border with Andorra, at the “ Center Esportiu d'Alas ” stadium, which can accommodate 1,500 people [6] or on the training field in Ordino [7] .
