Content
History
The library was opened on June 9, 1921 as the Central Scientific Library of the BASSR. Her fund then totaled about 17600 books. In 1925, it became known as the BASSR State Scientific Library. In 1933, it was expanded through a merger with the Central Muslim Library, and in 1936 it became part of the Central Mass Library. Gorky, and it now became known as the Republican Library of the BASSR. In 1960, the library was named after N.K. Krupskaya . In 1988, the republican children's and youth libraries became branches of the library. In 1992, the library was again renamed the Akhmet-Zaki Validi National Library of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
