Location and landscaping
The street starts at the automobile bridge across the Trans-Siberian Railway , which then goes to Komsomolskaya Street , passes through the industrial and warehouse building of the Sibirsky microdistrict, bends around the Mayakovsky Central Park of Culture and Rest from the east, then passes through the area of the former Brewery and across the bridge crosses the river Iset. It ends at a road junction with the Koltsovsky highway , where it turns into a bypass road . Intersects with the street Siberian tract .
The length of the street is about 3.4 kilometers. The width of the carriageway is more than 20 m (three lanes in each direction of movement). The numbering of houses starts from Komsomolskaya street.
History
The lane is marked on the plan of Sverdlovsk in 1947 , as a lane that runs for several hundred meters from the Siberian Route to the south, along the eastern border of the Ural Proletarian plant. On the city plan of 1939, the street is not marked. Modern street tracing was formed between 1965 and 1980.
From 1907 to 2005 on the street (house number 45) was a large brewery "Isetsky", whose products occupied 20% of the local market until the 2000s. After closing, the plant will be redeveloped into a logistics center [3] .
On May 31, 1989, the executive committee of the Sverdlovsk City Council of People's Deputies allowed the design of a police town on the lands of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure along Basic [4] .

Car traffic on the entire length of the street is two-way.
Ground public transport
The movement of ground public transport on the greater length of the street is not carried out. On the short stretch of the end of the street there is a fixed-route taxi number 011 (the stop “Basic Lane”). The nearest public transport stop to the top of the street is Komsomolskaya.
Nearest Metro Station
At 0.6 km southwest of the end of the street is the station of the 1st line of the Yekaterinburg Metro "Botanical" .
