Alexander Diomidovich Rodionov (years of life are not known) is a Russian yachtsman and designer of yachts [1] . He was a member of the Russian Olympic team , a bronze medalist of the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm in team sailing (10 meters class).

The crew of the "Gaul II" besides him included: Esper Beloselsky , Ernest Brache , Nikolai Pushnitsky , Philip Strauch , Joseph Schomaker and Karl Lindholm . Yacht owner: Alexander Vyshnegradsky .
A.D. Rodionov was a member of the St. Petersburg River Yacht Club [2] . According to his drawings, large yachts were built in the club's workshop - the schooner Zabava (30 tons) and the tender Dive (10 tons). These yachts were good walkers and for several years were not inferior to import ships.
Commanding the schooner "Zabava", A. D. Rodionov won in route racing for 66 and 100 miles in 1877-1878 [3] .
