Biography

Stephanie Schneider was born on September 25, 1990 in the city of Breitenbrunn , the federal state of Saxony . She took an interest in sports from a young age, began to actively engage in bobsleigh in 2008, and soon she joined the national team as a disperser and began to go to major international starts, and often showed pretty good results. In November, she made her European Cup debut, finished on the Austrian Eagles track with a fourteenth, two months later, at the stage in the Italian Cesane, she already won a bronze medal. The next season, she still could not get into the main team of the German team, was forced to play in less significant secondary tournaments like the European Cup, but she was very successful here, she always hit the top ten, in 2009 she won four more bronze medals, one silver and one gold one.

At the 2010 World Junior Championships in St. Moritz, Switzerland, she took silver, after which she began to disperse the bob of the experienced steering Sandra Kiriasis . In 2014, Camphuis visited the Sochi Olympics , where she finished tenth in the women's double crew program.
