Crater Description
In the northeast of the crater is the Sea of the Region , in the southeast - the Sea of Smith . The immediate neighbors of the crater are Wildt Crater in the northwest; Napier Crater in the northeast; Takini Crater in the east; Schubert Crater in the south. In the bowl of the crater is the Knox Show Crater [1] . The selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater are , diameter - 100 km [2] , depth - 1.68 km [3] .
During its existence, the crater is almost completely destroyed and its structure has lost its pronounced outlines. The most preserved are separate sections of the western and southwestern parts of the crater shaft. The height of the shaft above the surrounding area is 1430 m [4] , the volume of the crater is approximately 8000 km³ [4] .
