Aguano ( Spanish: aguano ) is probably a dead language that was previously spoken in Peru. According to M. Ruhlen (1987), aguano is the same language as chamikuro , but Chamikuro speakers say that aguano did not speak their language, but rather Quechua (Wise 1987). [1] Other spellings of the name of the language: Uguano, Aguanu, Awano ; sometimes called Santa Cruz ( Spanish: Santa Crucino ).
