Jonuts Andrei ( rum. Ionuţ Andrei , December 20, 1985 , Skitu-Golesti ) is a Romanian bobsledder , who accelerates, has been playing for the Romanian team since 2004. Participant in the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, repeated winner of the national championship, winner and winner of various stages of the Cup of North America and Europe.

Biography
Jonuts Andrei was born on December 20, 1985 in the community of Skitou-Golesti , Wallachia region. He was fond of sports from early childhood, in 2002 he began to actively engage in bobsleigh, two years later he passed the selection to the national team and, as part of the crew, Nicolae Istrate went to major international competitions, including the World Cup, where he almost always got thirty strongest. In December 2006, he won a bronze medal at the European Cup stage in the Italian Cesan, at other stages he performed with alternating success. In 2007, he made his debut at the adult world championships, showing on the track of the Swiss St. Moritz the twenty-third time in the classification of fours. He spent the next season at a fairly high level, closed the top ten at the junior world championships and was the twentieth at the adult.
At the 2009 World Championships in American Lake Placid, he finished with four-eighteen, also competed in the North America Cup this season - he won a bronze medal, five silver and one gold in December at the stage in Park City. Thanks to a series of successful performances, Andrey was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , and finally took the fifteenth place in the classification of four-seater crews. After the Olympics, he continued to perform at the highest level, fought for medals at the stages of the European Cup and stayed in the twenty of the world. At the 2011 World Cup in German Königssee, he was twenty-third with a four. However, in the next season, due to high competition in the national team, he was forced to play mainly at secondary less important starts, at the 2012 World Youth Championships in the Austrian Eagles, he reached the finish line twenty-second.
