Nokia Lumia 820

Nokia Lumia 820 is a smartphone developed by Nokia based on the Windows Phone 8 operating system. Introduced [1] and went on sale [2] simultaneously with the flagship model - Nokia Lumia 920 . Nokia Lumia 820 is equipped with a 4.3-inch AMOLED display with support for ClearBlack technology, a dual-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz and an 8-megapixel main camera with a Carl Zeiss lens. The phone supports the LTE standard and the Qi wireless charging standard (using an optional removable panel). This is the first Nokia smartphone on Windows Phone 8 , which has a slot for microSD memory cards [3] .

One of the features of the smartphone is the ability to completely change the case in order to add various functions that are not available “out of the box”. Enclosures are on sale, adding the ability to wirelessly charge and use NFC technology, protective shockproof cases and multi-colored cases for customizing the phone. The ability to change the case will allow you to update the phone in the event of a panel breakdown, gain access to the memory card slot, easily change the old battery and protect the phone to increase battery life.

CPU, memory

The device is sold with built-in memory of 8 GB, it also supports memory expansion using micro-SD cards with a maximum capacity of up to 64 GB. In addition, the user has access to 7 GB of cloud storage OneDrive. The smartphone is equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz and a Qualcomm Adreno 225 graphics processor, the amount of internal RAM is 1 GB.

Screen

The Nokia Lumia 820 has an AMOLED touchscreen display using ClearBlack technology , equipped with a polarizing filter and a highly sensitive Synaptics ClearPad 3250 sensor, so that the screen responds to touch even when wearing gloves or to control other objects. The screen resolution is 480 by 800 pixels. The screen is capacitive and supports Multipoint-Touch technology. The display is protected by scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 2 .

Camera

The main camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and is equipped with a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. The maximum image resolution is 3264 x 2448 pixels. The camera is equipped with an autofocus system. The picture is taken directly by pressing the two-stage shutter button.

Communication

Lumia 820 is equipped with modules such as 4G, NFC. There is also a Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n module, DLNA support, the device can act as a router using the “Shared Internet” function (Wi-Fi HotSpot), Bluetooth 3.1 and USB v2.0 are supported.

Induction charging, power

In the standard delivery, the smartphone does not support induction charging; to use this function, you must purchase the CC-3041 replaceable case with this function and the wireless charging itself.

Operating System

Nokia Lumia 820 is running the Windows Phone 8 .1 operating system. Like all other Lumia phones, the 820th model is sold preinstalled with exclusive Nokia applications. In the Russian version, Nokia Transport, Nokia Maps, Nokia Navigator and Nokia Music are preinstalled. Other applications can be downloaded in a special section of the Store - Nokia Exclusives.
