The cemetery was founded in 1915 according to the project of the Slovak architect Dusan Yurkovich . In the 54-square-meter cemetery, there is 1 mass grave in which 60 Russian soldiers from the 17th Arkhangelogorod Infantry Regiment are buried.
The cemetery is located near the old wooden church. Despite its location, it is one of the most abandoned cemeteries of the commune of Senkov. Currently, the mass grave, which is a small mound, is in poor condition; it is fenced, which was established by the efforts of the Society for the Development of Solewa Kzhiva. Initially, the cemetery was a richly decorated wooden cross, the decoration of which has not survived to our time. The base of the cross has decayed and it is in a lying position today in the cemetery. Of the original elements of the cemetery, only the remains of a stone fence have been preserved.
