Botanical Description
Perennial herbaceous plants, hairless or pubescent. Leaves on long stalks. The flowers are tubular, in homogamous baskets , collected in a common umbrella-shaped inflorescence ; purple or meat red, rarely white. Bracts from one row of leaves [2] .
