Alexandrovka

The first mention of this village in archival documents dates from 1853. This mention is due to the fact that serfs were bought here, bought by the college secretary Nikolai Stabeus, according to the deed committed in the 2nd Department of the St. Petersburg Chamber of the Civil Court. Peasants were bought from the landowner of the village of Davydovo, Tambov province, Marshansky district, the wife of lieutenant Varvara Aleksandrovna Potemkina and were transported in the same year to the village of Aleksandrovka and the village of Yakovlevka. The administration of the municipality of Aleksandrovsky Village Council of Grachevsky District of the Orenburg Region is located in the north-eastern part of Grachevsky District. The center is the village of Aleksandrovka, located 45 km from the regional center and 343 km from the regional center. The connection of the central estate with the district and regional centers is carried out along hard-surfaced roads (asphalt). In the territory of the administration there are 3 settlements. On the territory of the municipality is a church in the name of St. Alexander Nevsky, a historical monument of the XIX century.

The village is named after a church holiday in honor of the Prince of Novgorod Alexander Nevsky, canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church [2] .

The church in the name of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky was built in 1855 in the center of the village on the south coast of an artificial pond. The temple was consecrated on September 5, 1855 by His Grace Eusebius, Bishop of Samara and Stavropol [3] .

The church, which housed up to 1,500 pilgrims, was made in the traditions of Russian architecture of the 15th century in the form of a large four-pillar five-domed church “under the ringing” (2 chapters on the western side of the building replaced the missing bell tower); The design of the portals contains elements of the Gothic style. The architect and design materials are not installed [3] .

In 1922, during the famine in the Volga region, one of the epicenters of which was in the Buzuluk district, the community handed over silver liturgical things to the authorities. It is known that later they tried to pull the domes off the temple with the help of tractors and cables. As of autumn 1991, the temple was used as a warehouse for building materials and a production room (grain mill). Economic activity caused significant damage to the building and interior interiors [3] .

By the decision of the Executive Committee of the Orenburg Regional Council of People’s Deputies No. 158 of July 2, 91, the church building was assigned to the historical and cultural monuments of the Orenburg region [3] .

In the 2000s, the church of St. Alexander Nevsky was returned to believers. Thanks to the activity of the local resident Anatoly Petrovich Kuzmin and other parishioners, it was possible to achieve federal funding for the restoration of the temple, which began in 2010 [3] .

Currently, the temple is part of the Buzuluk diocese of the Moscow Patriarchate .
