Al-Medinah Sulci Rutvins - a system of potholes (a relief of alternating furrows and ridges) on the surface of the moon of Saturn - Enceladus .

Geography

The approximate coordinates of the center are [1] . The maximum size of the structures is 117.5 km . In the south-west of them is the Shiraz pothole , in the southeast, very close to Mosul potholes , and east of Kashmir potholes . In the northeast, there is a large 22-kilometer nominal Kamar crater, and in the northeast - the 7-kilometer Mayaruf crater.

Eponym

Named after the city of Medina , featured in the collection of Arabian tales, One Thousand and One Nights [1] . The official name was approved by the International Astronomical Union in 2010 [1] .
