It is part of the Markushevsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Markushevsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Tarnogsky Gorodok is 26 km, to the center of the municipality of Zarechye - 4 km. The nearest settlements are Baklanovskaya , Shevelevskaya , Andreevskaya , Nesterikh .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 22 people (11 men, 11 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
