It is part of the Markushevsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - the center of the Ramensky village council.

The distance to the district center of Tarnogsky Gorodok by road is 32 km, to the center of the municipality of Zarechye in a straight line - 18 km. The nearest settlements are Sergievskaya , Klenovaya , Monastic .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 55 people (25 men, 30 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
