In 1552, the Romashevsky churchyard, according to the Vazha Charter, became the administrative center of the Kokshenga camp of the Vazhsky district [3] . The territory consisted of Ilez, Verkhnekoksheng, Ozeretskaya, Lombuzh, Shevdenitskaya, Ust-Uftyug, Chulomatskaya, Dolgovitskaya, Romashevskaya, Lokhotskaya, Zaborskaya, Potska, Verkhovskaya, Spasskaya, Minsk, Zayacheritskaya, Rakulskaya, Kula 4 .
In 1613, the Kokshengsky camp was transformed into the Kokshengsky couple of the same county. In 1659, after the division of the chet into three camps, the churchyard became the center of the Romashevsky camp.
In 1762, a wooden Vvedensky church was built in the village. From 1763 to 1807, it was listed as a cathedral - that is, the main church of Kokshengi. In 1820, the stone Peter and Paul Church was built, later completely lost. In its place, residents installed a worship cross and a memorial stone. Vvedensky Cathedral is currently being restored.
