Eastern possum [1] ( Marmosops incanus ) is a species of mammal of the possum family, endemic to Brazil . It inhabits the eastern coast of the Atlantic Ocean from the state of Bahia in the north to São Paulo to the south and west to the Brazilian plateau at an altitude of 800 to 1300 m. It is active at night, feeds on berries and insects.
