Miroslav Stevanovich ( Bosnian Miroslav Stevanović , Serb. Miroslav Stevanoviћ ; born July 29, 1990 , Zvornik , SFRY ) is a Bosnian footballer of Serbian descent, a midfielder of the Servett club and the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Early life
Miroslav Stevanovich was born in Zvornik , Yugoslavia , into a family of Bosnian-Serbian descent.
Club career
Miroslav began playing football in the team of his hometown, Drine [1] . Later he played in the youth teams of the Serbian Vojvodina , where he moved after moving to Serbia. His professional debut took place in 2009, when he went on loan to the club of the third league of Vojvodina “Palich” [2] . Subsequently, it was leased by the Bosnian Premier League club “ Borac ” Banja Luka . After returning from the lease, he began to regularly fall into the main staff of Vojvodina. Thanks to his performance for the Serbian club, he received the prize “Athlete of the Year” in the Zvornik community in 2011 [3] .
On January 2, 2013, at the age of 22, Stevanovic signed a five-year contract with the La Liga club Sevilla [4] [5] . Upon arrival at the San Pablo airport, he was met by his compatriot, another Sevilla player, Emir Spahic and team delegate Juan Martagon [6] [7] . On January 9, he made his team debut in the Spanish Cup match against Mallorca , having played the full second half. Three days later, Miroslav made his debut in the championship of Spain , replacing José Antonio Reyes in the 82nd minute in the match against Valencia [8] . On August 27, 2014, Sevilla terminated the contract with Miroslav [9]
International Career
Since 2006, Stevanovic was called up to various youth teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, playing in teams under 17 years old , under 19 years old and in the youth team [10] . In September 2011, he was called up to the main team for the match of the qualifying tournament of the European Championship against the national team of Belarus . He made his international debut in a friendly match against the national team of Ireland in Dublin on May 26, 2012, replacing [11] . On August 15, Stevanovich played 90 minutes in a match against the Wales team , for which he managed to give an assist and score a goal, which earned praise and respect from the media and head coach Safet Sushich [12] [13] [14] . Subsequently, he began to regularly appear in the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the qualifying round for the 2014 World Cup and was even named on the website of the national team “Safet Sushich’s best move” [15] .
