Biography
Born on December 9, 1929 in Kasli, Ural Region (now Chelyabinsk Region ). In 1948, after graduating from the Kaslinsky vocational school No. 18, he entered the Novosibirsk College of Labor Reserves. After serving in the army, he was transferred to the military ensemble of song and dance of the West Siberian Military District [1] .
From 1953 to 1959 he studied at the Ural State Conservatory with Vasily Ukhov , soloist of the Sverdlovsk Opera and Ballet Theater . In 1956, Golyshev was enrolled in the trainee group of the opera house, and since 1958, as a soloist. Member of the CPSU since 1965.
The repertoire of the singer has about sixty roles. They are Valentin in the Faust by S. Gounod, Yeletsky in The Queen of Spades by P. I. Tchaikovsky, Germont in La Traviata by Verdi, Figaro J. Rossini in the Barber of Seville and others. He was the first performer of the party of Andrei ( Ya. Sverdlov ) in the opera-oratorio of B. Gibalin "Comrade Andrei" (1967).
In total, Golyshev sang about 3,500 performances, 500 arias, romances, author and folk songs, he took part in more than 2,000 concerts. The pinnacle of his work, it is believed, is the party of Eugene Onegin, sung by the master 276 times [2] .
The teaching experience began in 1962 at the Kuibyshev Pedagogical Institute. V.V. Kuybysheva at the Faculty of Music and Pedagogy. Since 1964, he is a vocal teacher at the Sverdlovsk College of Music named after P.I. Tchaikovsky . Since 1967 - lecturer at the Ural State Conservatory named after M.P. Mussorgsky, where in 1976-1983 and 1986-2005 he was the head of the department of solo singing.
The professor has more than 70 graduates, 26 - laureates and diploma-winners of international and national competitions.
Nikolai Golyshev is a wonderful singer, he has developed a wonderful and long creative career. His talented students continue their studies at our Opera Center. I hope that we will continue to cooperate with Professor Golyshev for the benefit of the Russian singing school.
