Meheki

Meheki or Megeki , mehekan ( Arm. Մեհեկի ) - the seventh month of the ancient Armenian calendar . Meheki had 30 days, starting on February 7 and ending on March 8 [1] .

The name of the month is associated with the name of the god Mihr . The ancient Armenians revered it on February 13 , when the festival of Trndez took place [2] .

The name of this month may also have a connection with the word “mahik” ( Armenian մահիկ ) - “moon sickle” .
