Zhabkino is a village in the Leninsky district of the Moscow region . It is part of the rural settlement Bulatnikovskoye (until the mid-2000s - Bulatnikovsky rural district).

It is located near the Simferopol highway about 4 km west of the center of Vidnoe . Near the village flows the Bitsa River.
History
The name of the village, presumably, came from the non-calendar personal name Zhabka [1] .
In the XIX century, the village of Zhabkina was part of the Sukhanovo volost of the Podolsk district . In 1899, 143 people lived in the village [2] .
According to the All-Russian Census , in 2002, 67 people lived in the village (24 men and 43 women) [3] . According to 2005 data, 62 people lived in the village [4] .
