Anantnatha

Anantnatha (Kannada ಅನಂತನಾಥ) - in the Jain tradition - the 14th tirthankara of our era. According to Jain doctrine, he became a siddha, completely dropping his karma. Father is King Sinsen, mother is Queen Suyasha [1] . Born in the city of Ayodhya , on the 13th day of the second half of the Indian month of Vaisakha .

He took the royal throne, and after a long reign became an ascetic. On the 14th day of the second half of the month, Vaisakha Anantnatha reached omniscience . His first speech was devoted to the basics of matter and life. Anantnatha had 50 major students, the eldest of whom was called Yash. He reached nirvana on the 5th day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra [2] .
