The Nikon 1 S1 is the Nikon 1 mirrorless digital system camera from Nikon , the simplest model in the family. Along with the Nikon 1 J3 that appeared simultaneously, it stands out for its high speed: shooting speed reaches 60 frames per second, video can be shot at a frequency of 30, 60, 400 and 1200 frames per second. You can shoot video with maximum quality in Full HD resolution 1920 × 1080 px and a data transfer rate of more than 20 Mb / s.

The camera was announced on January 8, 2013 and went on sale in February. Five color options are offered: white , black , red , pink and khaki . The cost of the option with an 11-27.5 mm lens is just over $ 250 [1] .

On July 11, 2018, Nikon announced the completion of the entire Nikon 1 mirrorless camera line .
