Geographical position
Refers to the Lyubonichsky Village Council. Nearby settlements: agro-town Lyubonichi , villages Kurgany , Vlasovichi . Morkhovichi is located 1 km from the highway M5 Minsk - Bobruisk - Zhlobin - Gomel , 148 km from Minsk and 20 km from Bobruisk.
History
The first mention refers to the XVII century . In 1560, the village of Bobruisk parish. Since 1738, Morkhovichs in the Lyubonichsky eldership of the Rechytsa povet. In 1908, a village in the Lyubonichi volost, Bobruisk district, Minsk province. According to the census of 1897, there were 71 courtyards, 277 women and 277 men in the village.
Population
As of January 1, 2017, there were 31 households in the village, in which 43 permanent residents lived, and summer residents come to the summer season. There are vacant land plots and houses for sale.
