Brian Murphy ( born Brian Murphy ; May 7, 1983) - Irish football player, goalkeeper of the Cardiff City club. He started his football career in the English club Manchester City , for which he never played a single match.

Club career
Murphy spent 4 seasons at Manchester City . In 2003, he was on loan at Oldham Athletic and Peterborough United , playing one match in the last. In May 2003 he moved to Swansea City . I signed a contract with the club as a free agent, spent 13 matches for the club.
Going to Bohemians , he made a huge impression on the team leadership in friendly matches. In 2007, he denied the rumors that made him into Bristol City and entered into a new contract with the club [1] . November 6, 2009 held the last match for the Bohemians .
At the end of 2009, he agreed to join Ipswich Town in January 2010 [2] .
In 2011, he signed a contract with Queens Park Rangers for a period of two years [3] . He made his debut for the "hoops" in the League Cup match against Rochdale [4] . In 2013, he extended the contract to 2016.
