At the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was the standard bearer of the Salvador team.
Career
At the 2004 Olympics , Evelyn competed in women in the group road and individual pursuit , where she took 35 and 12 places, respectively.
At the Beijing Olympics, she participated in competitions for women in the points and pursuit races , where she again failed to win medals for her team, taking 16th and 13th places respectively.
At the 2012 Olympics , she again took part in the women's competition in the group road race , where she finished in 26th place.
