Story
Indian immigrant Kishore Lale manages to settle in the US and become a millionaire. But all the years he spent in a foreign land, he does not forget about his homeland. In order to instill in his son Rajiv, who grew up an American, a love of Indian culture, he decides to pick up a traditional Indian wife for him. The choice falls on Ganga, the daughter of his old friend Suraj. The ideas are being successfully implemented: the son, having traveled with his brother to India, brings a young bride to America. But, once in the US, Ganga understands that the groom does not conform to her ideas about her future husband and is not going to change his way of life for her. In addition, to justify the hopes of Kishore Lala, her attachment to Arjun, the bridegroom's brother, with whom Ganga has more and more in common, prevents her from getting in Soon both of them realize that they love each other, but with a promise to Kishore Lala, Arjun has to constantly justify Rajiv before the Ganga. Only after an attempted rape by Rajiv, Arjun and Ganga reveal the truth about his son to Kishore Lal. Realizing that he was deceived in his hopes, Kishore Lal denies his son to marry the Ganges and consents to the marriage of Arjuna with his girlfriend.
