Indian immigrant Kishore Lale manages to settle in the US and become a millionaire. But all the years he spent in a foreign land, he does not forget about his homeland. In order to instill in his son Rajiv, who grew up an American, a love of Indian culture, he decides to pick up a traditional Indian wife for him. The choice falls on Ganga, the daughter of his old friend Suraj. The ideas are being successfully implemented: the son, having traveled with his brother to India, brings a young bride to America.
