The Diocese of Germontis ( Latin: Dioecesis Hermonthitana ) is the abolished diocese of the Patriarchate of Alexandria , currently the titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .

History
The ancient city of Germontis was located in the province of Thebes of the Diocese of Egypt and in the 5th-8th centuries was the center of the eparchy of the same name, which was part of the Metropolis of Ptolemaida of the Alexandrian Patriarchate.
Since 1938, the Diocese of Germontis has been the titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
